Goodbye Travis

I don’t make it a secret that I’m a huge Portland Trailblazer fan. Tiff would probably say that I’m obsessed. Yesterday they made a trade that I was really happy about because in the short term it really improved our chances of making the playoffs in a very crowded western conference. The only bummer part is they traded away one of my favorite players, off the court at least. I’ve had the opportunity to chat with Travis Outlaw a couple times including at the event I shot for Adidas a little over a year ago which the photo below is from. He was the only somewhat famous person that I’ve met in real life that  was totally down to earth and willing to chat. Like really chat. We talked for about 15 minutes about Mississippi and his favorite things about living in the pacific northwest.

Even though he was traded to the lowly Los Angeles Clippers, it’s a contract year for him so I’m sure that he will sign with someone and finally get a contract that matches what he is worth.

Anyway, just thought I’d share and commiserate on Portland losing one of it’s nicest citizens.
