Yes, it’s true! I actually do senior photography sessions! I was ecstatic that Katie asked me to do her senior photos (and even came up from Junction City to do them). For her sitting we ventured to a few spaces here in Canby. She was such a good sport and was the perfect model.

Nathan + Lisa Married | Cannon Beach Oregon Wedding Photography

Introducing Nathan and Lisa! I was pretty excited about this wedding for not only was it a beach wedding but also because I went to school with Nathan and played high school basketball with some of the groomsmen. This made the whole day just that much more relaxed. I hadn’t seen some of them since we played together so it was fun to catch up.

They were married at the Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, Oregon. As is the case with shooting a wedding on the Oregon coast, you almost have to expect it to be overcast and a little rainy which it was. But being the troopers they are, Nathan and Lisa decided to soldier on and have the wedding outside in spite of the weather (a tell tale sign of true Oregonians). So glad they did! You might notice that some of the ceremony photos have a certain glow about them which wasn’t achieved through some photoshop action but instead because of the heavy misty rain that was all over the lens. I guess you could call it an organic all natural photoshop action. :)

Lauren + Eric Married | Portland Oregon Wedding Photographer

Introducing Lauren and Eric! They were married in an intimate and sweet ceremony in Lauren’s parent’s back yard in Northwest Portland Oregon. Not only the whole night so relaxed and delightful but they also had a seriously amazing bluegrass folk band that was perfect for square dancing. You might notice the dancing photos have a particular air of happiness and enjoyment for which the caller was solely responsible. Future brides, I highly recommend having square-dancing to ensure your guests have a great time and I guarantee great dancing photos. :)

Matt + Megan Wedding | Salem Oregon Wedding Photography

Introducing Matt and Megan. They were married at her parents farm in Brooks Oregon which is just outside of Salem. One thing that struck me while shooting was just how happy and laid back everyone was. It just made the whole afternoon so enjoyable to shoot. Big props to Will for assisting me.

TJ + Becca Wedding | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography

Introducing TJ and Becca! They were married on the 4th of July in the beautiful Portland Art Museum. I was excited about this wedding not only because TJ and Becca are awesome but also because I grew up going to the Portland Art Museum and at different times had a membership there. The wedding was stunning with soft elegant colors and a perfect location. They also had the most amazing center pieces with each one representing a different part of the northwest which included a post card and various elements from that area. For instance, the Oregon coast table had sand, rocks, and other vegetation from the beach. So cool!

The event catering and decor was done by the talented folks at Vibrant Table.

Michelle + Garrett | Portland Oregon Wedding Photography

Introducing Michelle and Garrett! I was particularly excited to shoot this wedding because I knew from their engagement session how laid back and fun they were. We started at the Hotel Monaco in downtown Portland Oregon and then to the World Forestry Center in the west hills. Wonderful ceremony and ah-mazing cake. Seriously, some of the best cake I’ve ever had.
